Today I attended my fourth same-sex marriage based interview at the Columbus, Ohio USCIS office . I am pleased to report again that the USCIS officer who interviewed my clients was very professional and treated my clients respectfully. My clients were treated the same way this officer treats couples in traditional marriages. For a couple of minutes, the officer seemed to be troubled by the fact that one of my clients had previously been in a traditional marriage, but after a few questions his concerns were alleviated. At the end of the interview, my clients were informed that the officer will recommend that their case be approved.

Another happy family left the USCIS office today.
